2015 Kendo Summer Camp

The 2015 AUSKF Kendo Summer Camp will be held in Dallas,Texas on the 24th, 25th and the 26th of July 2015 at the University of Texas at Dallas (800 W Campbell Rd, Richardson, TX 75080).

Instructors from Japan:
– Shigeki Yamanaka (Kendo Hanshi 8 Dan)
– Hiroshi Ozawa (Kendo Kyoshi 8 Dan)

Kendo Promotion Exam is scheduled on July 26 (Sun) afternoon at the same place (see information)

5th AUSKF Junior Open National Championships – Announcement and Registration Packet

Dear Federation Representatives:

The All United States Kendo Federation is happy to announce that the 5th AUSKF Junior Open National Championships will be held on Saturday, August 1st, 2015, in Huntington Beach, California. These championships will be open to ALL kenshi 18-years and younger regardless of rank.

In addition, we will also be hosting a youth seminar the following day, Sunday, August 2nd, at the same location in Huntington Beach, California. This seminar will be open to all tournament participants regardless of age or rank.

Please download the application packet and submit one entry form and check per federation. Please complete and return all entry forms no later than June 13, 2015 to usjuniorkendoopen@gmail.com.  Please pay ONE CHECK PER FEDERATION payable to “ALL UNITED STATES KENDO FEDERATION” and mailed to the following address:

In addition, we are happy to announce that a $500/participant Scholarship will be provided by AUSKF to each regional federation outside of California (each federation will receive a maximum of $2000 from this scholarship fund). Such scholarship should be used to alleviate costs related to the Championships at the discretion of each regional federation.
